PUDINA RICE/ PULAO

INGRIDIENTS:

Mint leaves
1 cup
Coconut
4tbl
Green chillis
5
Garlic
2
Mustard
1 tsp
Corriander powder
1 tsp
Salt
As per tste
Basmathi rice
1.5 cup
Onion
1 (medium) cut into slices
Bay leaf  & cinnamon
1 & ½
Peas
½ cup



Method:
Wash and soak the basmathi rice   for 20-30 mts
In a blender add mint leaves , coconut, green chillis  and grind it to a pste.
Now in a kadai take oil, add mustard seeds when splutters add bay leaves and half cinnamon,
Now add crushed garlic and sauté for a minute .
Now add onions and sauté well till it becomes  transperant.
Now add the mint nd sauté well, add corriander powder and sauté  for 5 mins, add the peas  also.
Now add the raw rice and mix it well  and  saute for 2-3 secs in a low flame.
 Transfer to rice cooker add  2 ½-3  cups of water  and salt to it and close the lid.
Serve wIth raitha .
You can garnish it with some masala or roasted peanuts.
