Idiyappam


Ingredients:
Rice Flour
1 ½ Cup
Water
1 ¾ Cup
Oil
2-3 Tsp
Salt
To taste

Method:
  • Boil the water and add salt, oil to it.
  • Turn off the burner and add the rice flour to it. Mix it thoroughly while it’s hot. And keep aside the dough.
  • Then grease the idly plates and idiyappam maker with oil.
  • Now take a portion of dough and place it in the idiyappam maker, close the lid and hand press the dough in to swirls on to the idly plates.
 

  • Steam it for 15 mins. Idiyappam is ready. Serve hot with Stew, coconut milk or kurma.
