Butter - 1 stick(room temp)
Sugar - 2/3 cup
Egg - 3
Vanilla extract - 1tsp
All purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups
Baking powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Method:
Pre heat the oven at 350 F
- In a seperate bowl sieve and mix the flour, baking powder and salt and keep aside.
- Take a bowl, beat the butter and sugar using the hand mixer.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beat well at each time.
- Now add venilla extract and beat it few seconds
- With a mixer at a low speed, alternatively add flour mixture and milk. Beat it for 2 mins till fine batter is formed.
- Now line up 12 cups with paper liners.
- Evenly fill the cup with the batter and bake it for 20-25 mins.
- to check whether the cupckes are ready insert the toothpick, comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and cool it for 20mins.
