Pongal ( In Electric cooker)

Ingredients:
Rice 
1 cup
Moong Dhal
½ cup
Cashew
5
Salt
As Needed
Pepper
1 Tbs
Jeera
1 Tsp
Ghee
2 Tbs












Method:
  • Dry fry the rice and moong dhal for about a minute or two. Once its done wash it.
  • Add 6 cups of water, salt and cook it in electric cooker.
  • Once its done mash the pongal using a potato masher. Add some hot water according to the consistency
  • In a separate pan add the ghee,cashew and jeera. Fry it. then add the pepper to it.
  • Pour that to the pongal and mix it. Serve hot with chutney.
