Rajma (Red Bean Curry)

Ingredients:
Rajma
1 ½ cup
Onion
1
Tomato
2
Tomato Puree
1 cup
Jeera
1 Tsp
Coriander powder
1 Tbs
Cumin Powder
 ½ Tbs
Garam Masala
1 Tsp
Green Chilli
3
Chilli Powder
As needed
Salt
As needed
Oil
1 Tbs
Kasoori Methi
1 Tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Tbs


Method:

  • Soak the Kidney bean for 30min and pressure cook it for 30 mins.
  • In a pan add oil and jeera. Then add onion, green chilli and Ginger garlic paste. Stir it.
  • Add cut tomato and puree. Cook it for 15 mins.
  • Start adding the spices one by one. Add the cooked Rajma and salt. Mix it. Allow it to cook for another 5 - 10mins.
  • Once its done add the crushed Kasoori methi. Close the lid and cook for 5 mins.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaf.
  • Serve it with hot chapathi.
