Tomato Rasam


Ingredients:


Tomato Puree - 1cup
Rasam Powder - 1 Tbs
Coriander powder - 1tsp
Garlic - 1 clove
Red whole chilli - 2
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
Mustard - 1tsp
Pepper -1/4 tsp
Oil - 2tsp
Curry Leaf 
Salt
Coriander leaf - Garnish


Method:
  • In a hot pan add the oil, mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
  • Then add jeera, red chilli, garlic and curry leaf. Stir it for few seconds.
  • Add the tomato puree, rasam powder, coriander powder, salt and pepper.
  • Add the water according to the cosistency.
  • Allow the mixture to boil for 10- 15 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaf.



Tomato Puree:


Tomato - 3
  • In a boiling water add the tomato and cook it for 5 mins.
  • Put the tomato in the cold, so that the skin peels of automatically.
  • Grind it or smash it.
