Poha


Ingredients:
Poha (thick)
1 Cup
Onion
½
Tomato
1
Channa dhal
1 Tbs
Jeera
1 Tsp
Green Chilli
2
Red Chilli
2
Curry Leaf
4
Turmeric Powder
¼ Tsp
Salt
As Needed
Carrot Grated
Garnish
Coriander Leaves
Garnish
Lemon Juice
1 Tbs

Method:
  • Soak the poha in the water for 2 mins and dry it using a paper towel. Keep aside.
  • In a pan add oil. Once it’s hot add jeera, channa dhal, green chilli, red chilli, asafetida, curry leaf and stir it.
  • Then add onion and fry it. Add the tomato and fry it till it cooks.
  • Add the turmeric powder and salt. Then add the poha and mix it well. Stir it for 2 mins. Then add the lemon juice and mix it.
  • Garnish it with coriander and carrots. Serve hot.
