VATHAL KUZHAMBU

Ingredients:
Ladies Finger
7
Tamarind Juice
1 ½ Cup
Sambar Powder
1 Tbs
Chilli Powder
½ Tsp
Curry Leaf
4
Mustard seeds
1 Tsp
Fenugreek Seeds
½ Tsp
Salt
As Needed
Gingerly oil
2 Tbs
Whole Red Chilli
1
Asefotida
¼ Tsp



Method:
  • Cut the ladies finger in to small pieces.
  • In a pan add some amount of oil and fry the ladies finger for few mins. Keep aside.
  • In another pan add oil. Once it’s hot add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. Then add the fenugreek seeds, curry leaf, whole red chilli, asefotida. Stir it.
  • Then add the tamarind juice, fried ladies finger, sambar powder, chilli powder and salt. Mix it.
  • Allow it to boil till it’s half the quantity. Check out for the seasoning. Add if necessary.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.


Note:
You can add any kind of veggies like onion, brinjal,tomato..
