Ingredients:
Chou Chous

Method:
- Finely chop the chou chous. Soak the moong dhal for 10 mins.
- In a pan add the moong dhal, some water and cook it. Once it’s ready add the chopped chou chous. Mix it. Add water if needed.
- Meanwhile grind the coconut, green chilli, jeera and toor dhal. Grind it to fine paste.
- When the chou chous are half cooked add the salt. Cook it until it’s soft. Don’t overcook it. Once it’s done add the ground coconut paste and boil it for few seconds. Take out of the heat.
- Heat another pan, add oil and mustard seeds. Allow it to splutter. Then add the split urad dhal, asafetida and curry leaf. Stir it and add them to the chou chous.
