Ingredients:
Toor Dhal

Method:
- Wash all the dhal and pressure cook it for 30 mins.
- Finely chop the onion and tomato.
- Heat a pan, add the oil, bay leaf and cinnamon stick. Stir it. Then add the onion and fry it for 2 mins.
- Then add tomato and fry it. Once the tomatoes are cooked add the Coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Stir it.
- Then add the cooked dhal. Mix it. Close the lid and cook it for 5-10 mins. Once it’s done take it out of flame. Transfer them to serving bowl.
- Heat another pan and add ghee, jeera . Stir it. Then add chopped green chilli, red chilli, curry leaf. Stir it for few seconds and pour them to the dhal. Then add the lemon juice.
- Serve hot with rice or chapathi’s.
