Ingredients:
Roasted Peanut

Method:
- Heat a pan. Add oil, Urad dhal and red chilli. Fry it for few seconds till its golden brown. Remove it and cool it.
- Heat another pan. Add oil and chopped onion. Saute it for few mins and remove from the flame. Allow it to cool.
- Now add the roasted peanuts, fried onion, Urad dhal, red chilli and tamarind. Grind it to a fine paste.
- Heat a pan and add oil. Once it’s hot add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. Then add asafetida and curry leaf. Then transfer them to the chutney and mix it.
- Serve it with hot idlies or dosa.
Serves- 4
Note:
Onions are optional. You
can avoid it.
You can add grated
coconut to it at the time of frying the red chilli and urad dhal. Just fry it
for few seconds.
