Channa Masala

Ingredients:

Channa
1 cup
Onion
1/2 
Tomato
2
Green chilli
2
Jeera
1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste
1 Tbs
Bay leaf
2
Cinnamon stick
1
Cloves
2
Chilli Powder
1 tsp
Channa Masala
1 Tbs
Amchur Powder
1/4 tsp
Lime Juice
1 Tbs
Oil
2 Tbs
Salt





Method:
  • Soak the channa for 7 hrs and pressure cook for 20mins. Keep aside.
  • Finely chop the onion, tomato and green chilli.
  • In a hot pan add oil, jeera , bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon stick and ginger garlic paste one by one.Stir it.
  • Add the green chilli ,onion and fry it till its golden brown. 
  • Start adding the dry ingredients one by one.
  • Then add tomato and fry it till its cooked.
  • Once its done add the cooked channa and mix it. Add water to your consistency.
  • Finally add the lime juice.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.





Serves- 3


If Channa masala is not available you can mix 1 tsp of each
Coriander powder , garam masala and cumin powder.
