Shahi Paneer

Ingredients:
Paneer - 2 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 Big
Tomato - 3 1/2
Green chilli - 4
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 Tbs
Coriander powder - 1/2 Tbs
Cumin powder - 1 Tsp
Garam masala - 1 Tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp (as taste)
Kasoori Methi - 1 Tbs (crushed)
Butter - 3 Tbs
Cahew - 5
Bay leaf - 2
Cloves - 2
Jeera - 1Tsp
Cinnamon stick -1
Heavy Cream - 1/4 cup
Coriander leaf
Oil - 2 Tbs
Salt


Method:
  • With 1Tbs of butter fry the paneer cubes and keep aside.
  • In a tawa add 1 tbs of oil and fry the onion, tomato, green chilli one by one.
  • Once its done cool it and grind it with the cahews.
  • In a sause pan add the oil, then jeera., bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves and ginger garlic paste. Stir it.
  • Then add the grind paste. Mix it fpr 5 mins. 
  • Start adding the coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, chilli powder, salt  and mix it.
  • Close the lid and cook  for 15 mins. 
  • Add the paneer cubes. Mix it. 
  • Garnish with the coriander leaf and serve hot.





Serves- 4


If possible add the fresh ginger garlic paste. This would enhance taste.
Finally add the kasoori methi, heavy cream, and remaining butter. Mix it.
