Vegetable Biryani

Ingredients:
Onion - 1
Carrot - 2
Beans - 10
Potato - 1 ( medium)
Tomato - 3
Bay leaf - 2
Mustard - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1tsp
Star arise - 2
Cinnamon stick - 1
Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 Tbs
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Coriander Leaf
Salt
Oil - 2 Tbs
Basmati Rice - 1 1/2 cup
Ghee - 2 tsp
Cashew - 6
Water -  3 cup


To Grind:
Mint - 1/2 Cup
Green Chilli - 4 - 5
Garlic - 4 Cloves
Ginger - Small Piece
Small Onion - 5
Coriander Leaf - 1/2 cup


Method :


Soak the rice for 20 mins.


Grind all the things to grind and keep aside.



  • In a hot pan add the oil, mustard and allow it to splutter. Then start adding jeera, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, star anise,turmeric powder one by one. 
  • Add the onion and fry it. Season it with salt. Once its done add the grind mixture and allow it to cook for 10 mins.
  • Start adding the vegetables one by one and then coriander powder, chilli powder.
  • Add the Rice and stir it.
  • Transfer the whole thing to the electric cooker and add water . cook it. 
  • Garnish with Fried cashew and Coriander leaf.

Serve - 3
