Method:
- In a pan add 2tbl of oil and fry the cut lady's fingers and transfer it into kitchen towel and keep seperately.
- now in the same pan add a tspn of oil slightly fry the items in the grind list ., cool it and grind it to a fine paste.
- In a pan add oil(sesame oil pref.)add mustard seed when splutters add curry leaves now add onion to it
- saute nicely till it becomes transperant. then add grind paste to it and tomatoes to it and saute it nicely . you can add little water if the mixture is too dry. now add thick tamrind paste to it and bring it to boil.
- now add sambhar powder to it and salt as per taste. and bring the kuzhambhu to boil till the raw flavour goes.
- Now add fried lady's finger to the kuzhambhu and bring it to boil till the oil comes out.
- boil it in low /medium flame.
if you don't want to use garlic u can skip it.
sesame oil gives little more aroma then normal cooking oil. but taste doesn't change.
