This is the easy dish to prepare. My son loves corn so I make this often. Goes well with parathas.
Ingredients:
Corn

Cumin seeds

Juicy riped redTomato

Garam masala powder

1 tsp

Garlic

Tomato pulp
|
1 cup

Turmeric powder
|
1tsp

Kashmiri chilli powder

1tsp

Oil
|
2 tbl
|
Salt
|
As per taste

Method:
- Microwave the corn for 8 mins with little salt.
- Boil the tomatoes , peel the skin and grind it with green chillis and garlic.
- Take a pan with oil, add cumin seeds when splutters add the grinded tomato paste
- Add the chilli powder,garam masala powder,turmeric powder and bring it to boil .
- Boil till oil seperates. Then add the tomato pulp(store bought) and dilute with water.
- Bring it to boil ,till the gravy thicks.
- Now add the corn and boil it again.
Note:
- You can add butter ,it gives good aroma.
- If you don’t want so much tangy you can skip store bought tomato pulp,instead add another tomato.
- You can add dry methi leaves at last.
- I usually don’t add onions , if u want You can sauté onions after adding cumin seeds.
