POTATO PEAS KURMA FOR PAROTTA


















INGREDIENTS:

Potato
2
Peas
1cup
Onion
1 chopped
Tomato
2
Corriander powder
2tsp
Garam masala
2tsp
Clove
2
Elachi
2
Cinnamon
1
Ginger garlic paste
1tsp
Jeera
1tsp
Salt
As per taste

 
  
TO GRIND:
Coconut
3/4  cup
Fennel seeds
1 1/2  tsp
Poppy seeds
1tsp
Green chillis
4
Coriander leaves
Little
Jeera
1tsp
Cinnamon
½
Peppercorns
3

 
 
 
 
Method:
  • Cut potatoes  in to cubes and microwave it with little salt for 10 mins
  • Make a fine paste of items in to grind list.
  • Now take a pan  add oil ,add jeera ,clove,elachi,cinnamon  when it splutters  add onion to it.
  • Fry onion till transperant  add ginger garlic paste to it.
  • After 2 mins add tomatoes and  sauté till the tomatoes became smashy.
  • Now add salt,coriander powder,garam masala  and add the grinded  masala to it .
  • Add water  if needed.  Bring it to  boil for 5 mins or till raw smell goes.
  • After  few mins add potatoes and peas and boil it  5 mins
  • Garnish it with corrinder leaves.


Note:
If you are using dry peas ,then soak it for 8 hrs and pressure cook it  with little salt seperately before addingto kurma.
