Mysore Bonda


Ingredients:

Whole Urad Dhal
1 Cup
Green Chilli
5-7
Curry Leaf
5
Pepper
1 Tsp
Rice flour
1 Tsp
Coconut flakes
¼ Cup
Salt
As Needed
Oil
For Deep frying



Method:
  • Soak the dhal for 3 hours. Grind them along with 3 green chilli. Add water little by little while grinding.
  • Finely cut the remaining green chilli and curry leaves.
  • Then transfer it to a bowl. Add salt, green chilli, curry leaves, pepper, rice flour and coconut flakes. Mix it well.
  • In a pan add the oil and keep it in the medium flame.
  • Once the oil is hot take the small quantity of bonda mixture, make them in to small ball and deep fry it. Fry them till its golden brown.
  • Serve them hot with chutney.


Serves – 10 Bondas.
