Method:
- Take a vessel add water to it(1 cups) add the drumstick with salt and boil for 10-15mins.
- Now take a mixer jar add coconut ,jeera,peepercorns,redchillis and grind it in to a fine paste with little water.
- Now in the boiled drumsticks add boiled toordal and grinded coconut paste and bring it to boil.
- Add Curry leaves to it and continue boiling in medium flame.
- Boil till it comes to thick gravy consistency.
- Make a tadka.(take a kadai with a tsp of oil add mustard seeds ,urad dal turn off the flame add hing)
- Add the tadka to the porichakoottu.
- Serve it with hot rice.
Note :
The koottu will be thick consistency.
You can add snakegourd ,broad beans(avarakkai) instead of drumsticks.
