Tomato Rice

Ingredients:
Rice
1
Tomato
4 (Large)
Onion
¾ (Medium)
Green Chilli
3
Curd
¼ Cup
Red Chilli
1 Tsp
Garam Masala
1 Tsp
Coriander Powder
½ Tsp
Turmeric Powder
¼ Tsp
Salt
To Taste
Oil
2 Tbs
Jeera
½ Tsp
Bay Leaf
1
Cinnamon Stick
1
Curry Leaf
4
Coriander Leaf
To Garnish


Method:
  • Soak the basmathi rice for 20 mins. Keep aside.
  • Heat a pan and add oil, jeera, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, asafetida and curry leaf. Stir it.
  • Then add onion and green chilli. Fry it till its golden brown.
  • Meanwhile in a bowl add the curd, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder. Mix it. Keep aside.
  • Once the onion are done add the chopped tomato and fry it. Then add the curd mixture and salt to it.
  • After few mins  add rice to it. Mix it. 
  • Then transfer everything to the rice cooker and add 2 ¾ cup of water. Mix it and cook it.
  • Once it’s done garnish it with coriander leaf and serve hot.
